Age 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Preceded in death by his son Robert F. Mazzotta. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Lorraine, his children Cyndie (the late Mark) Henrichs, Eileen Cain, Laurie Mazzotta and Gary Mazzotta; grandchildren Tyler Henrichs, Tory Henrichs, Alexandra Cain, Tony Mazzotta, Megan Mazzotta and Camille Mazzotta and great-grandchildren Camden, Alianna, Aleena, Alaxia, McKenzie, McKenna, Madison and Maura; also survived by his brother, Lewis Mazzotta and many nieces, nephews and family members.

A Korean War veteran and lifetime resident of Pittsburgh, Bob was a graduate of Westinghouse High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He retired as a CFO in 1997 after a progressive and successful career.

Bob was a tireless community volunteer throughout his life. He was the founder of the CYO basketball program that grew to over 100 participants at St. Susanna Roman Catholic Church where he was a longtime member and served on the University of Pittsburgh School of general studies Alumni Board.

He was a lifelong supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Panther football and basketball, attending decades of season and Super Bowl games.

ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish-Monroeville Campus (St. Bernadette Church), 245 Azalea Drive, Monroeville, PA 15146 on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Sharps Hill.
