Obituary

Age 84, of Lawrenceville, at home with his family by his side peacefully, on Friday, January 22, 2021. Beloved husband of 56 years of the late Mary Ann (Lascola) Ceoffe; loving father of Anthony M. (fiance Nina Puccio) Ceoffe, loved as his son Steve (Kristy) Smith, Lisa M. (Edward Lapinski) Ceoffe, Michael A. (Krissi) Ceoffe and Mark A. Ceoffe: cherished granddad of Anthony "Nino" (Rebecca) Ceoffe, Christopher Crusan, Jr., Justin Ceoffe, Ashton (Patrick) Armstrong-McKibben, Kayla (Curt) Gilardo, Michael C. (fiance Emily Mazzeo) Ceoffe, Talia Jones, Nikko Ceoffe, Julie N. Ceoffe, Steve Smith, Jr., Geary Smith and the late Matthew Smith; devoted great-granddad of Gabriellia "Bella", Avellina Rose, Jameson, Joshua, Dimitri, Ariana, Xander and Phoenix; brother of Catherine (the late Emanuele "Amo") Rossi, and the late John Ceoffe, Mildred (Benjamin) Huber and Madeline Ceoffe; brother-in-law of Robert Grochalski; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, the Schrock Family and his extended McKees Rocks Family and Fantom, his cat. Tony was born, raised and worked in The Strip District. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Tony was a proud Teamster 249 member for over 43 years. He was a lifelong parishioner, supporter and volunteer of St. Stanislaus Church. Tony owned and operated Tony's Pallet Service since the early 80's. He was the caretaker of the Doughboy Statue in Lawrenceville for many years. Tony was a community volunteer for the Lawrenceville Citizen Council. He was an avid Harley rider and a member of the Teamster Horseman Motorcycle Association. Tony will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. Tony was the patriarch and anchor of his family. He was a man's man and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 6-8pm and Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 1-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Stanislaus Church on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
