On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Annette Irene (Godino) 89 years, entered the Heavenly Gates and saw the Face of God. Jumping for Joy right behind our Lord, was loving husband Richard of 61 wonderful years. Treasured by daughters, Constance Ionadi (Patrick) Diane Faith and Michelle Ledyard (Jon); Adored by Grandchildren Patrick, Richard, Antonio (Alyssa) Ionadi, Willam, Annette Cashdollar (Cody, )Matthew and Daniel Faith, Jonathan (Brittany), Joseph (Angie), Danielle and Joshua Ledyard; Great-Granddaughters Sophia Ionadi, Savannah Cashdollar, Caylee, Harper, Everie, Mira and Haven Ledyard; Preceded in death by parents Concetta (Costanzo) Antonio Godino; Siblings Samuel Godino (Catherine), Anna Franz (Joseph), Catherine Godino and Anthony Godino (Janet); survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Annette was born and raised in Pittsburgh. She was an accomplished Secretary for The Wiggins Company & ICI Industries. In 1954, Annette met her soulmate at the Westview Ballroom and danced through life for the next 63 years. Her greatest pleasure was spending time loving her family. She enjoyed traveling, socializing with friends and playing cards. Annette was always the ever competitive athlete at Bocce, Bowling, and Golf.
She was devoted to her faith and belonged to St. Raphael's Parish for 66 years. Annette was a Lady of Charity for 41 years and a Eucharistic Minister for 36 years.
Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church, 1154 Chislett Street, on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Wounded Warrior Project.
