Age 92, of Friendship, on Friday, November 7, 2025. Beloved husband of 69 years of Margaret M. (Szczepanski) Rossi; loving father of Diana (Bob Cupp) Bowser, Glenn (Renee) Rossi, Pauline (Kornel) Sopko and Carolyn (Bryon) Rardin; cherished grandpap of Stephanie (Sean) Hall, Amy (Daniel) Grossman, Haley (Michael) Tady, Chelsea (Keith) Plocki, Cassidy (Tanner) Cook, Dominic Rossi, Shea Sopko, Devon Sopko, Ashton Sopko, Bryon Rardin, Jr. and Matthew Rardin; great-grandpap of Savanna, Shelby, Sean, Molly, Kinsley, Harper, Aislyn, Josie and Michael; preceded in death by his parents Domenico and Tommasina Rossi and five brothers and three sisters; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Freddie proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a very talented plasterer who was in business for himself. Freddie loved his family, the Pirates, the casino and gatherings for the holidays. Freddie loved inventing games that he only knew the rules to and spent time figuring out how to cheat at them.
Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St. Augustine Church on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
