Age 85, of Shadyside, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Beloved husband of 56 years of Gretchen R. (Etzel) Stiehl; loving father of Kristin Stiehl, Mark Stiehl, Albert Stiehl, III and the late Greg Stiehl.

Albert received his bachelors degree from Pitt University, his Masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University and his PhD from Penn State University. He was a Professor of Engineering at Penn State University for 25 years.

Albert was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, running and golf.
